On the sixth day of the retreat, the students began by chanting the "Lesson of Gratitude," followed by a Dharma talk and Q&A session by Venerable Nun Thích Nữ Chúc Hiếu on the topic "The Harbor of Refuge." The program also featured an inspirational talk show with guest singers and songwriters Long Nón Lá and Phạm Kỳ. The evening concluded with the spectacular Hoằng Pháp Gala, showcasing many outstanding performances and creating a vibrant and meaningful musical celebration for this year's summer retreat.

Day 6 of the 2026 Summer Retreat:

At 8:00 a.m., Venerable Nun Thích Nữ Chúc Hiếu arrived at the Dharma Hall to deliver a Dharma talk entitled "The Harbor of Refuge" to the young participants.

The pursuit of happiness is always a long journey in human life. On this path, we may be overwhelmed by life's storms and discouraged by its steep slopes if we do not have a safe harbor to return to.

Therefore, let us cherish the blessings we already have: our families, our teachers and mentors—those who are virtuous and wise—and our own inner strength. These are the three firm foundations that support our growth, nurture our moral values, and guide us toward a noble way of life. With such foundations, the questions of love and happiness can be answered in the most natural way.
